SUMMARY:

The vine is one of the main agricultural crops in Serra Gaúcha, where the use of phytosanitary treatments is necessary to control diseases and pests. For these applications, Low Rate is a method that uses smaller volumes of syrup, reducing drift and costs. Adjuvants can assist in this operation, and it is necessary to know their effects for their correct recommendation. The objective of this work will be to compare the effects of four adjuvants at the dosages recommended by the manufacturers, compared to the pure water control. The treatments will have a completely randomized design, organized in a 4x2 factorial scheme, with 5 syrup options and two sides of the vine leaves, external and internal in relation to the passage of the sprayer. The experimental units will have hydrosensitive cards as an evaluation element, which will be subjected to the dropscan spray evaluation package. The variables will be droplet density, coverage, volumetric and numerical median diameter, diameter of the 10% smallest and 10% largest drops, potential risk of drift and coefficient of variation. By verifying the positive effects of the products, the aim is to develop a Technical Bulletin to assist in rural extension with the producers of the Cooperativa Vinícola Nova Aliança.
