Enolab: proposal for a business model for a laboratory in the Serra Gaúcha
lean startup; customer prospecting; oenology laboratory; products and services
Enolab – Viticulture, Enology and Laboratory was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in the municipality of Flores da Cunha (RS). Among the services provided, we highlight agronomic and viticultural assistance, oenological technical assistance and physical-chemical and microbiological analyzes on grapes, musts, wines and sparkling wines. The Laboratory was created with the aim of serving customers who came from agricultural projects to implement vineyards, started to vinify their wines and needed follow-up through analysis. With all the physical structure in place, technical team formed, equipment, inputs, reagents and materials available and the expansion of vitiviniculture to new production areas, it was realized that there was a gap in idleness and the opportunity to serve new customers was seen. Therefore, this work aims to work on proposing a new business model for Enolab, following the concepts of Lean Startup, proposed by Eric Ries. By proposing and validating quick execution actions, it is expected to obtain greater productive effectiveness, increase in the number of customers, economy and financial return and, in turn, reduce the waste of time and financial resources.
