STUDENTS WITH IFRS DISABILITIES AND INCLUSION IN THE WORLD OF WORK

This study is linked to the professional master's degree of the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica - ProfEPT, integrates the line of research Educational Practices in Professional and Technological Education and belongs to the macroproject of inclusion and diversity in formal and non-formal teaching spaces at EPT. The work has as a research problem the following question: during the curricular internships, what are the factors that have influenced the inclusion of students with disabilities at Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul - IFRS, Porto Alegre campus, in the world of work? As a result of the question presented, this research has as general objective identify which elements have influenced the inclusion of IFRS students with disabilities - Porto Alegre campus - in the world of work, proposing inclusive practices for their labor insertion. In relation to the methodology, the research is being developed through a case study with a qualitative approach and applied nature, in which semi-structured interviews were done with the following subjects: a student and a former student with a disability from superior and technician courses, respectively, of the IFRS, Porto Alegre campus, who have already concluded curricular internship subjects; two professionals responsible for receiving these students in the places where the professional insertions took place; two professors who oriented the curricular internships of these students; a teacher who accompanied the mandatory curricular internship of one of the students; a professional who received them at Núcleo de Atendimento às Pessoas com Necessidades Educacionais Específicas - Napne of the IFRS and a person responsible for the institution's internship sector. The analysis of the data collected through the interviews will be done using the triangulation technique, and the organization of this information will occur in two categories: adequate accessibility dimensions and barriers. The environment in which the research is being carried out is the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre Campus. The educational product resulting from this study will be a didactic material in a vídeo form that will have accessibility features, such as translation into Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Brazilian Sign Language) - Libras and audio description. By mapping the barriers faced by IFRS students with disabilities during their placements — and the dimensions of accessibility that participants perceived as appropriate at these times — this study aims to contribute to the proposition of practices that benefit the inclusion of students with disabilities within the scope of the IFRS and in the labour market, and also for possible improvements in the teaching processes in which they are inserted.
