This project is linked to the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), in the Professional Master's Course in Professional and Technological Education. The subject of study will be the didactics of science teaching from the context of a discipline called Science Studies in the Post-High School Teaching Course offered by the Escola Municipal de Educação Básica Doutor Liberato Salzano Vieira da Cunha, in Porto Alegre. The general objective will be to investigate how the Science Studies discipline of the teaching course can contribute to the construction of science teaching practices committed to na integral formation for the students of that institution. The methodology used in the research will be qualitative in nature, applied in terms of its purpose and exploratory in terms of objectives. Regarding technical procedures, the research will adopt different strategies, according to the specific objectives to be achieved. Bibliographic research, documentary research and case study will be used. The expected result is the qualification of the practice in the Science Teaching discipline committed to Integral Formation. Starting from the scenario that will be drawn in view of the results obtained from the research to be developed, the idea is to build a didactic sequence for the teaching of natural sciences for the discipline of Science Studies.
