The indicatives of technological performance evaluation point to the need to stimulate niches for the development of the culture of innovation and technology management in the Brazilian internal environment. The insertion of technology as a pedagogical tool, especially in public basic education schools in the country, is configured as an alternative to encourage this new reality. In an environment conducive to the inclusion of technology in classrooms, cooperation between the Government, Schools and Teachers is a fundamental requirement for the process of transforming everyday school life. However, although there are public policies for this purpose, both at the federal level, such as the Connected Innovation Policy established by Law 14.180/2021, and at the local level, some obstacles to the inclusion of technology in classrooms are still identified, especially in the basic education system. The objective of the research will be to analyze the process of inserting technology as a pedagogical tool for daily use in public basic education schools in Porto Alegre, according to the Connected Innovation Policy - Law 14.180/2021. The research will be carried out through an exploratory case study. The result of this study will enable a more accurate look at the stage of public policy implementation instituted by Law 14,180/2021 in the daily life of public basic education schools in Porto Alegre. As a technological product production, a Conclusive Technical Report will be presented with analysis of factors necessary for the implementation of technology as a pedagogical tool in public basic education schools in Porto Alegre.
