SUMMARY:

Due to discussions about climate change in the world, questions about the policies of companies in the fashion industry and their practices, transparency in the production stages of the environmental and social impacts caused by it is increasingly being requested by the consumer public. In this regard, slow fashion has been gaining ground, demonstrating the importance of sustainable production and bringing up concepts such as the circular economy and reuse of raw materials, resources, energy, and worker protection. The project aims to analyze whether such sustainable labels and certifications are perceived and valued by the consumer public. To this end, the project will seek to survey with consumers to identify whether seals, certifications, and certification marks have been a relevant aspect of valuing brands and whether they influence consumers' purchase decisions. To reach this purpose, a survey will be carried out using the quantitative method, conducted through a questionnaire, which will produce a technical report.
