Literacy; Digital Educational Games; Framework PlayEduc; Gagnian Instruction Theory
Digital Educational Games (EDGs) are important instructional tools and work as a
support to the teaching and learning process as they involve content with technology
and playfulness. We know that literacy is a priority in the first two years of
elementary school and is defined as the basis for other school contents. However,
the subject learning to read and write needs to become familiar with a succession of
new knowledge, resulting in a process of building reading and writing and following
this path advocates support, both for the student and for the teachers. Given the
above, this research seeks to elaborate a methodology for the construction of EDDs
for literacy that support the demands found within the school reality of the early years
of elementary school I (1st to 5th year). The research covers public school teachers
who use JEDs in their classes. Initially, an individual interview was carried out and a
qualitative questionnaire was applied that will be transposed to a quantitative
evaluation. The aim is to investigate complementary metrics to the PlayEduc
Framework - Pedagogy Element, according to the Gagnian Instruction Theory,
favoring the construction and application of EDDs in Literacy and Literacy.
