Due to the high prevalence of autism, specialized technology-aided treatment have emerged in recent years. It’s known that the dissemination and adoption of evidence-based practices is extremely important to ensure the successful inclusion of these students in society. However, recent studies suggest that most of the digital technologies advertised as specialized for autism are not being developed or validated under scientific rigor. With this in mind, the objective of this work is to develop a web and application system designed for interventions based on scientific evidence for autism. The developed technology is mainly based on the theoretical framework of Applied Behavior Analysis, since there is a large amount of studies that suggest that practices based on this science can effectively contribute to different outcomes among this population. The developed product will be validated by specialized professionals and later specialized technology-based interventions will take place as a single-subject experiment. The collected data will be properly analyzed in order to validate the effectiveness of the artifact and possibly contribute to new hypotheses in the field of technology-based interventions for autism.
